A Wonder to See
Baby likes to pet our two dogs (against the grain), feed them (the odd organic cheerio or table scrap, which she drops, like depth charges, from her high-chair tray), and play with the dogs (which so far consists primarily in following them around). As I’ve said before, the three of them share their own little world. As amazing as her growing list of skills and abilities is to her parents, though, it must be at least as amazing to the family dogs. Every time they imagine they know who she is and what she’s capable of, and not, she changes. And on top of the relatively sudden changes of behavior is the fact that she’s growing, fast. It’s all a wonder to see.
