Pain Storms

There are several tell-tale signs every time baby starts a new round of teething: she is fussy, she won’t play independently, she nurses and takes bottles with difficulty, and she bites into our flesh like it’s a juicy hamburger. So far, we have avoided band-aids and emergency rooms, but it is a scary experience nonetheless. We comfort her to the best of our ability and enjoy the lulls between pain storms.
