Amazing

Baby had a big day. She went to the beach and watched her mom surf; drove half an hour with her mom to see her aunt and uncle, their son, and her grandparents; drove another twenty minutes to see another aunt and uncle and cousin; drove fifteen more minutes to see a great-aunt (and her namesake) in the hospital; and then drove thirty-five minutes to get home and have dinner with dad. If the full complete sentence out of her mouth is “I hate being in cars,” I won’t be unduly surprised. She is growing increasingly fond of low-level hide and seek with her dad, of playing in pools, and of dancing when she hears music. The quantity of learning that she is doing by the day is amazing to behold.
