Who Are You?
My wife and her sister look alike, enough to confuse baby as to who’s who. For instance, today my sister-in-law dropped by the grandparents, where baby had spent the day, and arrived before baby’s mom. When baby laid eyes on her aunt, she started crying. Her aunt then held her until baby’s mom arrived, at which point baby, seeing her mom in front of her but believing she’d been held by mom until then, really started crying. Dad had to content himself with a couple of hours of baby’s time this morning and a goodnight kiss of my bleary-eyed princess when she came home with mom at the end of the day. It was nowhere near enough.
