Always Thinking

Baby’s hair, now about two inches long on the back of her head, is a little bit brown, a little bit red, and a little bit blonde. The brown is the easiest to see; the red is less easy to see; and the blonde is the least easy to see. Her knees are sometimes a little tender looking from all the crawling, and I wonder if it’s nature’s way of promoting walking. Would you crawl around on all fours all day if you didn’t have to? She is standing for increasingly long periods without holding any furniture, but she does keep an object in her hands, usually one with some weight to it, as a counter-balance. You may not consider this a sign of genius, but I would beg you to reconsider.
