Monkey

Baby is learning to drink water. Since the age of three or four months she has occasionally had a few sips of water from her mom’s water glass (and possibly even swallowed some of it). More recently, she has been mastering the ancient art of drinking from a sippy cup. The sippy cup also provides her with a good nub, in the form of its spout, for teething, as well as an implement with which to apply water to her face, clothing, high chair, and the floor. More and more, I must admit, she is actually drinking from it, too. Recently, she has begun taking bites from bananas her parents are eating, a startlingly grown-up task.
