Crying

The goal in this house is to get to baby after she wakes up from a night’s rest or a nap before she cries, and we manage to succeed about 98 percent of the time. That includes this morning, when I heard her on the monitor, softly fled up the stairs, and found her in bed with her eyes open and a smile on her face. We had some quality time lying in the family bed before I picked her up to start the morning, another day peacefully begun.
