Please, No Peas

If baby ever has a bite of a persimmon, the face she makes may not be that different from the one she started making the other day when we introduced peas into her diet. It’s not that she categorically refuses to ingest the mixture of brown rice and peas – both organic – that mom and dad shovel into her mouth, but she does like to let us know that eating peas is an unnatural and probably unhealthful act. Whether this means that we suspend operations and try again in six months, or just wade through her reluctance, I have no idea. Peas are so good that I would hate to ruin them for my beloved.
