Wiggle 2000

Baby no longer drinks all of her bottles nestled in my arm. After a few sips and swallows, she often wiggles to encourage my pulling her to a sitting position, and from there she wiggles some more while getting her feet beneath her and stands on my legs. That I generally am able to keep the bottle in position to maintain flow for these transitions is something of a feat, though perhaps less of one than baby’s being able to conceive of taking nourishment throughout the process herself – and then somehow doing it. She was asleep in the jogging stroller at the end of my training run today.
