Stuck in a Rear-Facing Seat

Baby eats tiny bites of her parents' food, and sometimes she eats a fair amount of it. Tonight, the family ate chicken parmesan with penne, and baby made everything put on her high-chair tray disappear -- with lip-smacking satisfaction.

To give her mom a chance to cook without interruption, I had taken baby on a drive to the beach. Her car seat faces backward, and though she can look out the side windows, her experience riding in cars should take a turn for the better when we turn her seat around in a couple of weeks or so.
