Saying Goodbye to the Ocean State

Baby has taken to dancing when I play guitar, and I have to say that she gets a pretty good groove on. Sometimes she stands where she is and pulses up and down with her arms and legs. She shakes her head a little, twists, bounces, and clearly feels the music. Sometimes she comes to where I'm playing and touches (or slaps) the guitar while doing her dance. Sometimes she mutes some of the strings, and it produces a nice rhythmic effect. Occasionally, she manages to sound the strings with her little fingers between my strums.

We went to a friend's pool today, and baby had a pleasant hour. Tonight after dinner, mommy, baby, and I went to the beach to play in the water again. We have just over a week in Rhode Island before the move to Texas; in the meantime, I hope to bring my princess to the water every day.
