The Wave

I want to say that if you’ve never been waved to by my daughter then you haven’t lived, but I know that it would be prejudicial and unkind. Let me say this, then: If you have been waved to by my daughter, then you have tasted a particular kind of joy that acts as a balm against any number of buried sorrows.
