"Uh-ohhhh"

Baby has a new expression – “uh-oh.” It sprang from the experience my wife was having picking up toys, cups, and teething rings that baby had dropped from her high chair. “Uh-oh,” my wife said, more than once, and within a day baby was saying it all the time. When she accents the second syllable – “uh-ohhhh” – it really seems like she knows what the expression means, which she may. What it means to us, predictably, is that she is the cutest child imaginable. What will we do when she says things in English?
