Holding On

Baby didn’t want to be put down today. Mostly this was due to the arrival of Tooth No. 6, but it may also have been a function of her picking up some pre-trip jitters on my part. I’ll be away from home for 36 hours to play a gig, and I’ve been anxious about it. Baby slept for three hours on my chest (two hours in the morning and an hour in the afternoon), and when she wasn’t sleeping she was being walked around by daddy. I bathed her in the afternoon, and – to my surprise – she was as joyful as ever in the tub.
