The Big Move

A friend of mine once told me that change takes a long time to happen, but when it happens it happens fast. That's how things are going at home right now. Sales negotiations, home repairs, packing, strategizing, buying last-minute things -- all of these things are happening on a daily basis now. And baby, who is remarkably aware, still doesn't know that the place where she has spent her first year is about to be left behind. Granted, home is where mom and dad are, but it would be easy to discount how jarring the coming transition may be for our wondrous little angel. May I remember to smooth the way for her every day.
