Tiny Dancer

Baby dances with her feet, hands, arms, legs, eyes, ears – and everything else. She wiggles, bounces up and down on strong legs (to the point of doing deep knee bends), nods her head to the beat, and connects to music the way God intended. She begins dancing the moment she hears music (on TV, on the stereo, played by dad on his guitar, or sung by mom, dad, or the two of us together). Sometimes it seems she begins to dance before the music actually starts, so keen is she to connect to this dimension of spirit. If anyone ever comes asking “Were there signs that she would be musical,” I will have to say there were.
