Energy

Today baby petted both the family dogs, drank water from a sippy cup, walked far and wide in the house; read a book with her dad; laughed a few dozen times; smiled more than that; took a spin around the neighborhood in dad’s arms (during the last few minutes before mom came home from work); put a tiny purple sock in the sound hole of dad’s guitar (it’s in there still); climbed to the top of the printer (closely supervised by dad), which has been lying on the floor since the move; emptied dad’s wallet of its credit cards, photos, and money; ditto mom’s wallet; walked to the windows to look out at the world several times; and took side-trips during her foot travels to grab quick hugs from both mom and dad. She had a day.
