A Family Affair

Baby loves to share -- bites of food, sips from her sippy cup, books, toys. If she likes it, she likes to offer it to mommy, daddy, or the family dog. Occasionally, she will immediately withdraw what was proffered. But mostly she likes to sit back and bask in the warmth of giving.

While mom went to see friends for a couple of hours this evening, baby woke from a nap, and then went back to sleep on her dad's chest. That meant that I had another memory to build, and that baby would most likely be awake later when it came time to watch the comedians deal with the day's election results. She is indeed awake now (it's nearly 10), and the Daily Show is about to start. It will be a family affair!
