Two Expressive Teeth

Baby displays her two bottom teeth in such a way as to radiate love, hope, and jolliness, forming a mask of conscious delight around a pair of unlikely pivots. I should learn to express so much feeling, mouthful of teeth that I have. Today, she enjoyed her first pureed pear fruit. Though she grimaced as if she’d eaten straight lemon juice, she liked it well enough to open her mouth hungrily for her second bite – and her third, seventh, and twelfth, too. She alternated grimaces and satisfied smiles throughout her meal, an athlete of the palate like her mom and dad.

My little girl only has 1 bottom tooth at the moment...but when she smiles, it's just great. It sticks out because it's the only white thing in her mouth...pretty soon she'll have a full set...and it won't feel that amazing as each tooth comes in, but the first few seem to be the highlight of the week each time.
