Glitter Girl

Baby’s mom went surfing for the second day in a row today. Several hours later, I saw glitter (just a few pieces of it) on baby’s face and chest and wondered how it had gotten there. It turns out that the hardest part of beach sand to get off in the shower is the part that glitters and that when mommy hugged baby right after her post-surf shower the glitter was transferred onto our little sweetness.

After dinner tonight, baby stood under the table while her mom pretended to chase her. When her mom made one of her playful passes, baby sought cover between my knees and melted another few drops of ice from my heart.
