Pink High Tops for the Park

Baby’s main shoes, the one she wears to the playground now, are pink high-tops. She’s patient letting me put them on her for the park, seeming to understand that they’re part of a routine that leads to an adventure worth having.

Today in the baby swing, high-tops on, she was more relaxed than the first couple of times, smiling and looking around like it was old hat. I can't believe that she'll be turning her new shoes gray by the time summer comes.
